mandolins, flappybat nite, and music

Well I got a mandolin, I figured why not, if I can halfway play guitar I can play a mandolin.
1. They're hard to keep in tune.
2. The fretboard is tiny.
So far I've learned a few chords and "Gary Owen". Kinda.
Plastic Flappybats play Friday night, I'm looking forward to it but not stressed out about it since it's all for fun.
I'm currently working on learning the pentatonic scales for guitar so I can build up my lead skills. We'll see how long that lasts.
